Mick and Jean Pappas

Mick and Jean Pappas of Mars celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the Saxonburg Hotel.

Th former Jean Davidson married Pappas on Feb. 24, 1956, at Old Union Presbyterian Church in Mars.

They have three sons, Mick Pappas Jr. of Mars, Brian Pappas of Evans City and Ron Pappas of Butler. They also have five grandchildren.

Pappas is retired from Pullman-Standard.

Mrs. Pappas is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to Old Union Presbyterian Church.
