7:44 Wednesday — Cars driven by Tiffany Day, 16, of Butler and Andrew Douglas, 17, of East Butler collided at West Jefferson and North Chestnut streets.Wednesday — Betty Bohnert, 57, of Butler was charged with passing a bad check for $157.30 at Friedman's market on West Brady Street, on Dec. 19.

12:51 p.m. Thursday — Apickup truck driven by Randall Phillips, 43, of Volant and a sport utility vehicle driven by Jamie Melish, 51, of Butler collided at Route 422 and the Interstate 79 offramp in Muddy Creek Township. Melish, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries. Phillips was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.6:57 p.m. Wednesday — Eugene DeMarco, 62, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after his pickup truck hit a fence and several trees along McCandless Road in Center Township. He was also cited for careless driving.5:10 p.m. Wednesday — Aminivan driven by Bonnie Graff, no age given, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Tom Sawyer, no age given, of Prospect collided at Route 422 and Hardwood Road in Clearfield Township.Police said Sawyer suffered serious injuries; Graff suffered moderate injuries. Both drivers were flown by medical helicopters to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Their conditions were not known this morning.Police did not know if either driver was wearing a seat belt. East Butler firefighters, Kittanning EMS and East Butler, and Butler ambulance services assisted police.

2:44 a.m. Saturday — Dawn Eckstein, no age given, of Evans City was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 28. She was also cited for three undisclosed traffic violations.

1 p.m. March 10 — Fifteen suspected illegal aliens were arrested following a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County, and turned over to federal immigration authorities. The suspects are from Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala.
