5:14 p.m. Wednesday — Two suspects were arrested after police spotted them in a pickup truck reportedly stolen two years ago.Thomas Kaplin, 20, of West Sunbury and Angela Ferguson, 19, of Emlenton are charged with receiving stolen property, conspiracy, and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Police arrested the pair on Glenn Avenue in a red, Chevrolet S-10 pickup that had been reported stolen in 2004 by the owner, a Pittsburgh resident.Both defendants were arraigned on charges and remanded to Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond each.
12:46 p.m. Wednesday—Acar driven by Lisa Misera, 43, of Butler struck an embankment and flipped onto its roof at Unionville and Election House roads in Franklin Township. Misera was cited for careless driving.7:42 a.m. Wednesday—A sport utility vehicle driven by Jodi Williams, 40, of Chicora struck the side of a bridge on Route 68 in Summit Township. Williams, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.7:32 a.m. Wednesday—Asport utility vehicle driven by Lisa Marinello, 44, of Petrolia struck a tree along Old Brick Road in Washington Township. Amanda Marinello, 17, of Petrolia, a passenger in the vehicle wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.11 p.m. Tuesday—Acar driven by Nancy Watson, 47, of Butler crashed into a ditch and a cement culvert before rolling onto its roof on Benbrook Road near Route 8 in Center Township. Watson, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
