Thompson, Patton
Megan Thompson and David Patton, both of Butler, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Freeport Road Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Butler. The Revs. Timothy McGarvey and Timothy Dietrich officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Alan and Teri Thompson of Smethport. Parents of the bridegroom are Jeffery and Sandra Patton of Butler.
The honor attendant was Jeanne Monaghan of Butler. Bridesmaids included Christine Thompson, Nicole Campbell, Angela Walsh, Tabitha Wright and Skylar Ruth, all of Butler. The flower girl was Landis Ruth of Butler.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Ron Brooks of Saxonburg. Ushers included Timothy Frayer, Todd Roxbury, Mark Roxbury and Davey Brooks, all of Butler, and Matt Harriger of North Carolina. The ring bearer was Matthew Martin of Butler.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Portersville Christian School. She works at the Aldi's Distribution Center in Saxonburg.
The groom graduated in 1995 from Knoch High School. He works for the Verizon Wireless Corporate Center in Cranberry Township.
Following a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Butler.
