Butler PoliceMonday — Mary Lou Greybeck reported that her son's light blue, BMX special "trick bike" was taken from the family's Franklin Street home. The bike had been chained to the rear deck and the chain was cut.The bike, valued at $1,200, is manufactured by Kink and is a Freebird model.Monday — Arock overnight was thrown through a small window at H&PPackaging on South Washington Street.2:45 a.m. Saturday — Brian Robert Geibel, 23, of Summit Township was arrested for driving under the influence after a near collision on East Wayne Street. He was also cited for a traffic signal violation and driving an unregistered vehicle.
State Police, Butler2:24 a.m. Sunday — James Durci, 45, of Saxonburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Cubage and Coal Hollow roads in Buffalo Township.2:19 a.m. Sunday — Robert Duffield, 23, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Hall Road in Clay Township.2:19 a.m. Sunday — Cole Christy, 22, of West Sunbury was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop on Hall Road in Clay Township.Sunday — Asafe stolen last year from a Petersburg, Ohio, home was found on Limbacher Lane in Clinton Township.
Butler Twp Police11:18 a.m. Saturday — Sport utility vehicles driven by Lisa Losser, 26, and Garrett Hawk, 23, both of Butler, collided on New Castle Road at the 7-Eleven store. Hawk suffered minor injuries.Police said both drivers face citations for undisclosed traffic violations.
North Hills DUI Task ForceSaturday — Two people were arrested for driving under the influence during a DUI checkpoint in Pine and Marshall townships, Allegheny County.The checkpoint operation was between Saturday night on Routes 910 and 19 and Warrendale and Warrendale Bayne roads.In addition to the DUI arrests, one person was cited for an open container violation and three others were cited for undisclosed traffic violations.
