Shirley and Harold Miller

Harold and Shirley Miller of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage Sunday. A family dinner is planned at the Runway Restaurant in Penn Township.

The former Shirley Edgington married Miller on March 19, 1956, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Center Township.

They have two children, Patty Lucas of Tallahassee, Fla., and Rod Miller of Butler.

They also have a granddaughter.Miller is retired from Penn Dixie, where he worked as a miner.Mrs. Miller is retired from Magnetics.The couple belongs to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler.
