Edwin and Bonnie Merten of Saxonburg celebrated 25 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at their home.

The former Bonnie Sinclair married Merten on Feb. 14, 1981, at Center United Methodist Church in Fawn Township.

They have two children, Frankie Merten and Rachelle Merten, both of Saxonburg.

Merten is retired from work in landscape construction. He enjoy working outdoors.

Mrs. Merten works part-time as a licensed practical nurse and full-time at II-VI in Saxonburg. She enjoys cooking and the outdoors.
