Tuesday — James Pint reported that someone overnight stole several car parts from an unlocked vehicle at his Zeigler Avenue home. Taken was an alternator, battery and heater core. The stolen property is valued at $180.

Monday — John Johnston, 20, of Butler was arrested on several charges during a police chase in the South Hills area of the township. He is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, reckless endangerment and several other traffic violations.Police, assisted by Butler officers, also found Johnston was wanted on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

2:42 a.m. Sunday — Thomas Shuler, 40, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 8 and Unionville Road in Center Township.1 a.m. Feb. 27 — William Whitlatch, 18, of West Sunbury was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Route 8 and Mercer Road in Center Township. He was also cited for underage drinking.12:50 a.m. Feb. 26 —Tyler Coast, 20, of Harrisville was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 8 near Boozel Road in Slippery Rock Township.

3:10 a.m. Monday — Erica Kosarich, 20, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Buffalo and Fifth streets in Freeport, Armstrong County. She was also cited for underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
