Charles and Elinor Hinchberger of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a gathering at their daughter's home.

The former Elinor Curry married Hinchberger on Feb. 20, 1946, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have three children, Linda Cunningham, Timothy Hinchberger and Charles Hinchberger, all of Butler.

They also have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Hinchberger is a retired member of the Operating Engineers Local 66 union. He belongs to the Knights of Columbus.

Mrs. Hinchberger is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
