Ruth Fleming of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday Feb. 25 with a card shower, telephone calls and visits from friends.

The former Ruth McKissick was born

Feb. 25, 1916, in Euclid. She married Ralph Fleming, July 23, 1935. He is deceased.

She has two children, Burton Fleming of West Sunbury and Mary Jo Dudley of Dover, N.H.

She also has five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Fleming was a homemaker.

She is a lifelong member of the Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church, where she remained active in many activities until recent years.

She is a charter member of the church's Methuselah's Many senior group. Mrs. Fleming also is a life member of the Tanglewood Senior Center in Lyndora and was a member of the Rebbekah Lodge in West Sunbury.
