JEFFERSON TWP — Concordia Lutheran Ministries has announced the following promotions and new position.
Charlene Kline,
a registered nurse and Concordia administrator, has been named vice president of skilled nursing services for the main campus as well as Concordia at Rebecca Residence. Kline earned an associate's degree in nursing from Butler County Community College and a bachelor's of science degree in business management from Carlow College.
Brian Hortert
of Butler, a former director, has been promoted to vice president of assisted living services. He will oversee operations on the main campus as well as Concordia at the Orchard in Center Township and Concordia at Ridgewood Place in Plum. He has owned and operated a 25-bed personal care facility.
Cristen Fiffik
of Franklin Park was named general counsel for Concordia. She had worked for CentiMark Corp. as general manager of strategic alliances and is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She earned a bachelor's degree in finance and banking from the University of Missouri.

<B>Wendy Weiner,</B> a native of Butler, has been appointed to Pittsburgh's Dress for Success board of directors. Weiner is a senior vice president of academic affairs of Community College of Allegheny County and the chief executive officer of CCAC's South Campus. Dress for Success works to advance low-income women's economic and social development and encourage self-sufficiency through career development and job retention.Osteopath <B>Dr. William Murray</B> has joined the Butler Medical Providers as an obstetrics-gynecology physician and is opening a new practice, Butler OB/GYN Associates. He has also been appointed to the Butler Memorial Hospital staff.Canadian Steel Service Center in Ontario has bought a slitting line from <B>Herr-Voss Stamco,</B> which will be installed by late 2006 or early 2007.
