1:31 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Susan Sargent, 47, of Gibsonia and a tractor-trailer driven by James Fisher, 44, collided on Main Street as Sargent's vehicle attempted to pass the truck. No injuries were reported.11:04 p.m. Wednesday — Sarah Wach, 24, of Butler was taken into custody on an outstanding domestic relations warrant after police received an anonymous call reporting Wach at 328½ S. Washington St. Wach was found hiding in a second-floor closet.8:05 p.m. Thursday — James Kennedy, 61, of West Sunbury was charged with simple assault following a domestic call. Kennedy admitted hitting his daughter, Renee Philman, 37, also of West Sunbury, twice in the face during a dispute. Kennedy was found on South Main Street while his daughter was in an apartment above the street. Kennedy was arraigned before District Judge Kevin O'Donnell and placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $3,000 bond.6:26 p.m. Thursday — Anthony Miller, 25, of Butler was taken into custody on an outstanding bench warrant for an unspecified offense following a domestic call.5:03 a.m. Thursday — An A-Plus store clerk reported the theft of $15 in gas by a white-haired woman driving a tan car.

3:45 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Todd Switzer of Slippery Rock, whose age was unavailable, and an SUV driven by Donald Lavorini Jr. of Boyers, whose age was unavailable, collided on Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township. Switzer was not wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. Lavorini and his passenger, Darren Leitch of Boyers, both were wearing seat belts and received moderate injuries. Switzer was cited for a traffic violation.9:38 p.m. Wednesday — An SUV driven by Rachel Mangel, 18, of Chicora was traveling on Brinker Road in Summit Township when it struck a utility pole. Mangel was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.Wednesday — Laura Pushak reported the theft of a blue lock box with an unspecified amount of money from her Forward Township home at 258 Reibold Road between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.11:30 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Victor Short III of Ellwood City, whose age was unavailable, was traveling on Route 422 when it struck the guardrail. Short was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

11:40 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Linda McIntire, 58, of Mercer was traveling on Route 2004 in Springfield Township when it crossed the road and a wire guardrail before hitting a tree stump. The driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. The two passengers, Robert McIntire, 67, of Mercer and James Sipe, 27, of Pulaski, Lawrence County, were not wearing seat belts and received unidentified injuries. Both were taken to Grove City Medical Center by Superior Ambulance.

6:04 p.m. Sunday — Patrick Daley of Hubbard, Ohio, reported that someone broke into his cottage at 45 Bame Camp Lane and took items valued at $110, including a BB gun, bottle of alcohol, dart board, fishing rods and .22 caliber shells.2:23 a.m. Saturday—Alisha Dawn Shriver, 23, of Morgantown, W.Va., was charged with driving under the influence after police witnessed the woman's vehicle following another vehicle too closely on Route 19 and stopped her vehicle.12:44 a.m. Feb. 12 — Matthew David Sylvester, 18, of 12 Madison Ave., Zelienople, was arrested on driving under the influence charges following a traffic stop after police witnessed the driver's vehicle cross the centerline on Route 19.10:20 a.m. Feb. 12 — Dave Rettig of Beaver Falls, Beaver County, reported someone broke into his trailer home and stole beer from 37 Bame Camp Lane.1:39 p.m. Feb. 11 — Bonnie Yousko of West Homestead, Allegheny County, reported that her cottage at 71 Bame Camp Lane was broken into sometime in the past several weeks. The door was kicked open, but nothing appeared to be taken.
