The following churches have scheduled Ash Wednesday services:

Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road will hold a candlelight service at 7:30 p.m. The Imposition of Ashes will conclude the service. Childcare will be available.

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will participate in a joint service at 7 p.m. at Saint Andrew's United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St.

First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., will host a service at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will hold a 7 p.m. service.

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will hold a 7 p.m. service.

Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 W. Old Route 422, will hold service at 7 p.m.

St. Brendan's Episcopal Church, 2365 McAleer Road, Franklin Park, will host a service at 7 p.m.

St. John's Evangelical Church, Main St., Connoquenessing, will participate in an Ash Wednesday service at 7 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Prospect.

St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 218 E. Jefferson St., will offer Holy Communion and the imposition of ashes at noon and 7:30 p.m.

St. Richard Roman Catholic Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, will celebrate Mass and distribute ashes at 9 a.m. The Liturgy of the Word and distribution of ashes will be held every hour from noon to 7 p.m.

Trinity Presbyterian Church, 107 Staley Ave., will participate in the 7 p.m. service at Saint Andrew's United Presbyterian Church.

West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church, 215 E. Church St., West Sunbury, will hold service at 7 p.m. The service will include the Imposition of Ashes and the laying of sins at the foot of the cross.
