8:24 p.m. Sunday — Joshua Sean Young, 19, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Desirae Feitl, 19, of Center Township at the McClain Avenue home of her friend. Young was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bond.3:53 p.m. Saturday — Tiffany Blackwell, 19, of Center Township swerved her car to avoid a dog on Memorial Drive, causing the vehicle to go off the road and into a traffic sign.12:11 a.m. Saturday — Eric Deal, 44, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Rebecca George, 33, during a domestic dispute at the couple's Hilltop Avenue home. Deal was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bond.7:06 p.m. Friday — Jennifer Cromer, 44, of East Brady was arrested for driving under the influence after her car struck a pickup truck at Monroe and East Jefferson streets. Sean Griffith, 26, of Butler Township was driving the pickup.Police found a suspected crack pipe and numerous prescription drugs not prescribed to Cromer in the car she was driving.In addition to DUI, she is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, as well as several traffic violations, including driving without insurance, driving with a suspended license, careless driving and making an illegal turn.5:40 p.m. Friday — Tina Groves, 39, of Lyndora swerved her car on East Brady Street to avoid a tree that had blown down onto both lanes, causing the vehicle to go off the road and into a utility pole. She was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.4:46 p.m. Friday — Raymond Okeson, 60, of Forward Township was arrested for driving under the influence after his car struck the rear of another vehicle at East Jefferson and Monroe streets. Jason Smith, 33, of Butler was driving the vehicle struck in the crash.
12:30 a.m. today — A 16-year-old Sarver boy, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 356 and Silverview Drive.4:40 p.m. Saturday — Herbert Voytosh, 69, of Sarver was charged with retail theft for allegedly taking cigarettes, medicine and other items from the Giant Eagle at Buffalo Plaza on Route 356. Police said the stolen property is valued at $195.
1:31 a.m. Sunday — Shawn Ealy, 27, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Grove Street and Route 68 in Chicora.8:59 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Paul Bienemann, 49, of Valencia struck a utility pole along Sandy Hill Road in Middlesex Township. Bienemann, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken with unknown injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.8:24 p.m. Saturday — David Yockey Jr., 42, of Sarver was arrested for driving under the influence on Smith Road in Buffalo Township. He was also cited for several undisclosed traffic violations.7:54 a.m. Saturday — A state Department of Transportation truck driven by Lisa Pfeifer, 46, of Butler struck a utility pole along Meridian Road in Penn Township.5:15 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Benjamin Paylo, 22, of Valencia and a mini-van driven by Richard Hood, 53, of Gibsonia collided at Route 8 and Old Route 8 in Middlesex Township. Paylo was cited for making an illegal turn.11:24 a.m. Friday — Vehicles driven by James Doner, 23, of Pittsburgh and Marcus Fritz, 31, of Cranberry Township collided at Route 8 and Ferguson Lane in Middlesex Township. Doner was cited for making an illegal turn.
9:53 a.m. Saturday — Cars driven by Diane Puliatti, 41, and Mary Mathews, 42, both of Harrisville collided on snow-covered Route 58 in Pine Township, Mercer County. Puliatti was cited for driving too fast for conditions.9:30 p.m. Friday — An unidentified vehicle struck a pickup truck on Cranberry Road in Pine Township, Mercer County, and did not stop after the crash. Thomas Meyers, no age given, of Stoneboro was driving the pickup.
