8:25 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Herbert Bridgewater, 87, of Gibsonia was traveling on North Main Street when it hit a parked vehicle owned by Jerry Wolf of Summerville. No injuries were reported.

1:20 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Stephen Scannell, 49, of Cortland, Ohio, was traveling on Route 8 in Mercer Township when it pulled into a private driveway to turn around, striking a planter box and becoming disabled. No injuries were reported. Scannell was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.7:40 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Heather O'Rourke, 35, of Slippery Rock struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Philip Cooper, 56, of Slippery Rock on Route 108 in Worth Township. Cooper's vehicle was stopped to make a turn. Cooper received minor injuries. O'Rourke was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.5:50 p.m. Friday — An older model sedan, possibly gray-colored, driven by an unknown person and a car driven by Aaron Fichter, 20, of Butler collided on Route 308 in Center Township. The older model car, which likely has a damaged front left bumper/fender, left the scene. Anyone with information about the accident should call state police at 724-284-8100.1:31 a.m. Saturday — Ryan White, 27, of Chicora was charged with driving under the influence after being found asleep behind the steering wheel of his vehicle on Main Hill Road in Fairview Township. After being arraigned, White was placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bond.3:15 a.m. Saturday — Richard C. Kline III, 24, of East Butler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 8 in Brady Township.Friday — Christopher Fennell, 21, of Butler reported the theft of the faceplate to his vehicle's audio receiver while it was parked in the lot at JSP International on Benbrook Lane in Summit Township between 3:15 p.m. and 7 p.m.

8:40 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by a 17-year-old female was traveling on Valley View Road in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County, when it hit an embankment. The driver was wearing a seat belt and was taken to Armstrong County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.7:30 a.m. Feb. 6 — An SUV driven by Katlin Stello, 20, of Tarentum was traveling on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township when it spun on the wet road and struck an embankment. Both Stello and her passenger, Jessica Criswell, 18, were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Police were assisted by Kittanning Hose No. 6 EMS and West Kittanning Volunteer Fire Department.

6:50 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Brittania McClintick, 21, of Ellwood City was traveling on Route 388 in Slippery Rock Township when it hit a tree fallen on the road. McClintick was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries.
