CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
These performers from in and around Butler County will be featured March 3 at The Circle of Friends Evening of Performance and Praise fundraising concert for Penn Christian Academy at Butler County Community College's Succop Theater:
- Tim Falling, music director at North Main Street Church of God and Corky Whitacre, former band director of Butler High School, will perform "Redeemed Medley" on the French horn and trombone.
- The Deahl Quartet, a family of vocalists will perform "Circle of Friends."
- Kindergarten students at Penn Christian Academy will sing four songs.
- Swingsation, a group of big band, jazz and swing performers will sing two numbers under the direction of Claudette Sanzotti
- Vince Tavolario, owner of Natili's restaurant in Butler, will play secular songs on the piano.
- The North Pittsburgh Quintet, a standard woodwind group composed of four musicians from the North Pittsburgh Philharmonic, will perform three tunes.
- Carol Raisley, a member of North Main Street Church of God and frequent performer in church, will sing.
- Kelly Hiser Ball, a protégé of Penn Christian's music teacher Carla Osborne, will play the piano.
- Twenty members from three generations of The Deahl Family Singers will sing.
- The contemporary Christian band Street Level will perform three songs.
- Butch Gruver, a member of North Main Street Church of God, will sing.
- North Main Ladies Quartet will sing.
- The Russell Family, members of Community Alliance Church, will sing.
- Ken Metrick, owner of Harvest View Farm, will play the guitar, fiddle and banjo.
Carla Osborne, music director at Penn Christian Academy who performs with the Butler Symphony, will play the piano.
- Brad Schake, a member of North Main Street Church of God, will sing "Find Us Faithful" while third grader Sarah Dunlap dances and Maggie Secunda interprets with sign language.
