William and Della Broad of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a dinner.

The former Della Moser married Broad on Feb. 16, 1946, at the First Methodist Church Parsonage in Butler.

They have three children, Janice Petsinger, Cindy Oesterling and Sam Broad, all of Butler.

They also have six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Broad is retired from Pullman Standard, where he worked in the construction department. He also worked as a salesman for several companies.

Mrs. Broad is also retired. She worked as a sales associate for J.C. Penney and for Miller's Shoe Store and Kmart.

The couple belongs to First Baptist Church in Butler.
