2:11 p.m. Friday — Keith Lowen, 25, of Pittsburgh was taken into custody on a domestic violence warrant. Police found Lowen after a caller reported seeing him at the 7-Eleven store on New Castle Road. Lowen was arraigned before District Judge Peter Shaffer and jailed in Butler County Prison on $2,500 bond.
2:38 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Wilmerdean Huselton, 77, of Butler and a car driven by David Ross, 73, of Saxonburg collided at the intersection of routes 8 and 228. Ross, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries after the Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Department extricated him from his vehicle. Huselton was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Huselton was cited for failing to stop at a red light.3:13 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Lorraine Malone, age unavailable, was traveling on Route 356 in Winfield Township when it hit an embankment. Malone, who was wearing a seat belt, received minor injuries.Feb. 4 — Dennis John, age unavailable, reported the theft of a washer, dryer and a 36-inch television, with a total value of $250, from his Oakland Township residence at 111 Thorn Drive between Dec. 25 and Feb. 4.
12:01 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Pierre Pinson, 44, of Templeton, Pa., was traveling on Bunker Hill Road in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County, when it failed to make a curve and hit a concrete wall before crossing the road and striking a stop sign. The car then crossed back over the road, landing in a ditch. Pinson was wearing a seat belt but complained of neck pain. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.6 p.m. Thursday — Police are searching for a 12-year-old runaway girl from Worthington. The girl went with an unknown 17-year-old male to an unknown location instead of returning home.
12:10 p.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Mary Wolbert, 34, of Shippenville and a vehicle driven by Mary Rex, 68, of Cranberry collided on Route 66 in Paint Township. Wolbert and Rex were wearing seat belts and each received minor injuries. Passengers in each vehicle were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Wolbert received a summary traffic citation.
