VALENCIA — Stan Szymanski of Cranberry Township will present a gospel concert at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at Glade Run United Presbyterian Church on Route 8.
The original music, developed through raising a handicapped child, will be accompanied by a video.
The event is free, but donations will be accepted.
The men's group at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, will host its fourth annual wild game dinner at 5 p.m. Feb. 19.Attendees are asked to bring their favorite game dish, vegetable or dessert to be shared.Author and radio host Trapper John Colombo will speak on getting rid of insect and animal pests.Steve Loder and his wife, Gale, who have written and published three cookbooks on wild game, will also be present.The dinner is free, but donations will be accepted. BUTLER TWP — His Productions, a drama group at Christ Community United Methodist Church on North Duffy Road, will present the one-act comedy "Rest in Peace" at 8 p.m. Feb 18 and 9 p.m. Feb. 18.Refreshments will be served in the following the performances.Tickets are on sale at the church office for $5. The Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima will celebrate a Mass at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at St. Peter Roman Catholic church, Franklin St.A Rosary, Chaplet and Benediction will follow. All are welcome.
GIBSONIA — Bakerstown United Methodist Church on Route 8 will host an interactive performance, "The Rock Gospel of Jesus Christ" at 7 p.m. March 4.Performed by the Christian band STRIVE, the event will use music, scripture and visual arts to depict the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus.The Journey, an interactive prayer walk, will be offered during the event as well as on March 5 and 7.Tickets for the concert are $5.
