Rockets girls shoot past Gremlins, 56-24

Abby Basta scored 15 points and Jence Rhoads added 14 to power the Slippery Rock girls basketball team to a 56-24 victory over Karns City Monday.

The Rockets (17-4) jumped out to a 22-4 first-quarter lead and took a commanding 40-10 lead at the break.

The Gremlins (13-9) received 10 points from Haley Callihan.
