11:10 p.m. Sunday — An unidentified vehicle struck a car parked on West Penn Street and did not stop following the crash. Beverly Parton of Butler owns the car.
3:12 a.m. Sunday — Trevor King, 40, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on West Cunningham Street. He was also cited for a traffic signal violation and criminal mischief.
Courtney Anthony, 30, of Butler, a passenger in King's car, was arrested after police allegedly found suspected crack cocaine and a crack pipe in her purse. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
7:48 p.m. Friday — Pedro Rodriguez, 57, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Tara Gordon, 21, with a broom handle during a domestic dispute at the couple's West Penn Street home. Rodriguez is charged with simple assault.
6:50 p.m. Friday — Nickolas Stine, 25, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle struck a fence along Armco Drive. Stine was also cited for several undisclosed traffic offenses. AK Steel owns the fence.
2:26 a.m. Friday — Adams Harris, 24, of Chicora was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on North Duffy Road. Harris was placed in the Butler County Prison after police found that he was wanted on two warrants.
2:37 p.m. Monday — One person was injured in a two-car crash at Route 8 and Route 228 East in Middlesex Township. A police report is pending and the names of the drivers were not available this morning.
One of the drivers was trapped inside his Chevrolet Cavalier after the crash. Firefighters had to use portable saws to cut through both side doors to free the man, said Chief Dave Van Atta of the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Company. The man was taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.
3:54 a.m. Monday — A Scotts SpeedyGreen 2000 lawn fertilizer spreader was found along Route 422 at the Moraine State Park bridge in Muddy Creek Township. The owners can claim the property by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.
12:12 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Amber Derry, 18, of Glenshaw, Allegheny County, skidded off snow-covered Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township and hit a guardrail.
5:50 p.m. Sunday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Borjanka Grackik, 51, of Butler traveled off Slippery Rock Road in Donegal Township and crashed into a tree trunk.
5:20 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Andrew Fair, 21, of Butler skidded off ice-covered Route 422 in Clearfield Township and struck a guardrail.
5:03 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Sandra Broerman, 59, of Chicora skidded off ice-covered Route 422 in Summit Township and struck a utility pole.
5 p.m. Sunday — Four people were injured when a sport utility vehicle driven by Abbey Wood, 18, of Butler and a car driven by Robert Reed, 51, of Karns City collided on Chicora Road in Oakland Township.
Wood and a passenger in her vehicle, identified by police only as a Butler juvenile, suffered minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts. Also suffering minor injures were Reed and passenger in his car, Alanna Reds, 49, of Karns City. Both were wearing seat belts.
4:54 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Terrie Snyder, 42, of Kittanning skidded off ice-covered Route 422 in Clearfield Township and struck an embankment. Snyder and a 13-year-old Kittanning girl riding in the pickup were treated for minor injuries at ACMH Hospital in Kittanning. Both were wearing seat belts.
1:30 a.m. Saturday — Mark Lyons, 24, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Freedom Road and Executive Drive in Cranberry Township. He was also cited for a traffic signal violation and careless driving.
1:30 a.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by John Morgan, no age given, of Valencia flipped onto its roof after crashing on Watters Station Road in Forward Township. Morgan, who suffered minor injuries, fled the crash and did not notify police, who are still investigating.
4:45 p.m. Jan. 29 — Three youngsters, who police did not identify, reported that someone in a blue Chevrolet Impala fired a pellet gun at them on Cupps Road in Connoquenessing Township. No one was injured.
4:15 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Nicole Lippert, 19, of Cranberry Township skidded on snow-covered Interstate 80 in Richland Township, Clarion County, and struck the rear of a tractor-trailer. The driver of the rig was apparently unaware of the crash and did not stop.
11:40 a.m. Saturday — Larry Snow Jr., no age given, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after police found him asleep at the wheel of his vehicle stopped on Airport Road in Fairview Township, Mercer County.
5:51 p.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Rebecca Whitehouse, no age given, of Jackson Center struck a utility pole along Route 173 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County. Whitehouse, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Police noted the crash caused a power outage in the Grove City and London areas.
8:38 a.m. Wednesday — A tractor-trailer driven by Mark Ohman, 47, of Waymart, Wayne County, crashed after hitting an embankment along Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County. Ohman, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. He was cited for careless driving.
2:45 a.m. Wednesday — Carl Stiffy IV, 23, of Volant was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 208 and Leesburg Station Road in Springfield Township, Mercer County. He was also cited for a lane violation and careless driving.
