Neigh 50th anniversary

Harold "Bus" and Joan Neigh of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage Saturday with a Mass of thanksgiving at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. A reception followed at the Herman Fire Hall.

The former Joan Michel married Neigh on Feb. 4, 1956, at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Summit Township.

They have four children, Karen Reeher, Kevin Neigh, Renee Boroughs and Jennifer Crawford. A daughter, Lenita Trombatt, is deceased.

They also have eight grandchildren. Two grandchildren are deceased.

Neigh is retired from Burt Hill Kosar Rittelmann. A veteran of the Marines, he served during the Korean conflict.

Mrs. Neigh is a homemaker and former employee of Magnetics and J.C. Penney.

The Neighs are active members of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, participating in Mary, Queen of Fransiscans and the Secular Fransiscan Order.
