Kimberly L. Bowser
Kimberly L. Bowser, 32, formerly of Harrisville, died Dec. 28 at her home in Parker.
Born in Grove City, April 17, 1973, she was the daughter of Hannah J. Bailey Bowser and the late Charles L. Bowser.
She was a 1991 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and was the first girl to play on the school's boys' soccer team.
Miss Bowser loved volleyball and played on teams in high school and at the Grove City YMCA. She also played softball, and was an avid Steelers and NASCAR fan.
She worked at USIS of Boyers for the past four years. She previously worked at the Barcus Hallmark store and the Eat 'N Park restaurant, both in Grove. City, and at the Slippery Rock Pizza Hut.
She was a Protestant.
Surviving are her mother of Harrisville; three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Ellen L.) Ritenour and Mrs. Douglas (Mary F.) Dick, both of Harrisville, and Mrs. Tery (Beatrice A.) Barron of Slippery Rock; a brother, David L. Bowser of Grove City; and several nieces and nephews.
A sister preceded her in death.
BOWSER — Private visitation and services for Kimberly L. Bowser, who died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, were Dec. 30. The Rev. G. Kenton Shaw, pastor of the Wayside Community Church of Mercer, officiated.
