Cooper, Rodgers
Slippery Rock residents Kellie Cooper and Charles Rodgers were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Oct. 29 at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler. The Rev. Timothy Bupp officiated. A reception followed at the Slippery Rock Community Center.
The bride is the daughter of John and Karen Cooper of Renfrew. Parents of the bridegroom are Charles and Betty Rodgers of Slippery Rock.
The honor attendant was Lynda Brown of Spring City. The junior bridesmaid was Tara Maalouf of Butler. Tristyn Maalouf of Butler was the flower girl.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Bart Scott of Grove City. Ushers included Rob Jansen of Columbus, Ohio, and Adam Nguyen of Renfrew. The junior groomsman was Tarek Maalouf of Butler.
The bride is a 1983 graduate of Butler High School, a 1983 graduate of Point Park College and a 2005 graduate of Butler County Community College. She works at Sonneborn in Petrolia.
The groom graduated in 1988 from Slippery Rock High School and in 2005 from BC3. He works for RMCI in Boyers.
Following a wedding trip to the Caesars Pocono Resort, the couple is making their home in Slippery Rock.
