James and Nettie Stark of Sarver will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner on Saturday.

The former Nettie Miller married Stark Feb. 2, 1946, at Bull Creek Presbyterian Church Manse in Tarentum.

They have two children, Janet Bochek of Cheswick and Cheryl Criswell of Sarver. Another son, Bruce Stark, is deceased.

They also have four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Stark is retired.

Mrs. Stark is also retired. She volunteers at South Central Butler County Food Bank in Cooperstown.

The Starks are active members of Clinton Township United Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg. They also volunteer for the Freeport Meals on Wheels program.
