Eva G. Cohlhepp

Eva G. Cohlhepp, 94, formerly of Reidsburg, Clarion County, died at 7:38 a.m. Saturday at Beverly Healthcare-Shippenville.

Born July 9, 1911, in Elk Township, Clarion County, she was the daughter of William and Orpha Reedy Bell.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Clarion University for 17 years.

Mrs. Cohlhepp was a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Clarion and the Friendship Club of the church.

She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed gardening, playing cards and playing bingo at the nursing home.

Surviving are a son, Fred Cohlhepp and his wife, Patricia, of Marion, Ind.; two daughters, Erma McClaine and her husband, William, of East Brady and Louise Best and her husband, Francis, of Lucinda; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Leander M. Cohlhepp Sr., whom she married Aug. 29, 1933, died in 1962. She also was preceded in death by a son, Leander M. Cohlhepp Jr.; two brothers, and five sisters.

COLHHEPP — A Mass of Christian burial for Eva G. Cohlhepp, who died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, were held at the Immaculate Conception Church, Clarion, with Msgr. Joseph Ricardo officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery. ROBERT V. BURNS FUNERAL HOME, Clarion, handled arrangements.
