4:57 p.m. Wednesday — An unidentified vehicle struck a car on North Monroe Street and did not stop following the crash. Rachel Brady, 28, of Connoquenessing was driving the car.The unknown vehicle is described as a gray, older model station wagon-type car with a "colorful stripe" on its side, police said. The vehicle, after hitting Brady's car, sped off and was last seen traveling north on North Monroe Street.4:45 p.m. Wednesday — Sherri Selfridge, 39, of Butler Township was arrested for driving under the influence after a two-vehicle crash on Third Avenue. Police said Selfridge collided with a car driven by Steven Braden, 37, no address given.Selfridge's blood-alcohol level was 0.195 percent or nearly 2½ times the legal limit of 0.08 percent under state law. Police noted that Selfridge has four prior DUI convictions.

8:27 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Shelly Bergbigler, 19, of Chicora struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle that had stopped to avoid three deer crossing New Castle Road on the hill west of Hansen Avenue. Harry Roth, 68, of Lyndora was driving the SUV.Following the collision, a mini-van driven by Patricia Singer, 51, of Butler struck the rear of the car. Bergbigler was treated for unknown injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.6:05 p.m. Tuesday — Three people were injured when a tractor-trailer driven by Harold Mobley, 36, of Logan, Ohio, and a car driven by Edward Byers, 34, of Harrisville collided at Route 422 and Eagle Mill Road in Franklin Township.The collision forced Byers' vehicle into a car driven by William Hess, 50, of Slippery Rock.Byers and two passengers in his car, Jamie Byers, 30, and Alexander Byers, 6, were treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital.Tuesday — Zacc Dray, 19, no known address, was charged with forgery and theft for allegedly taking and cashing three checks owned by Deep Valley Christian Services Camp in Worth Township. The combined valued of the checks was $250. He was arraigned on charges and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.11:45 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Kathy Echard, 26, of Butler crashed and rolled onto its roof on Bonniebrook Road in Jefferson Township. Echard, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.7:35 p.m. Monday — Three people were injured, two seriously when a sport utility vehicle driven by Michael Krug, 45, of Boyers and a pickup truck driven by Samuel Summers, 41, of Slippery Rock collided on Route 108 in Worth Township.Krug and Adam Snyder, 43, of Boyers, a passenger in the SUV, were flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Their conditions were not known this morning. Summers suffered minor injuries.Police said Krug faces citations for careless driving and a left-turn violation. Summers faces charges for driving with a suspended license.4:40 p.m. Monday — Victor Roblero Avendano, 21, and Vianer Victoriano Marroquin, 23, no addresses given, were arrested for being in the county illegally. Both suspects were placed in the Lawrence County Jail and later turned over to federal immigration authorities.2:03 a.m. Monday — Carl Bohn, 24, of Sewickley, Allegheny County, swerved his pickup truck to avoid a deer and crashed into a guardrail at Route 68 and Oak Drive in Forward Township.9:50 a.m. Jan. 10 — A car driven by Alana Klingensmith, 25, of Leechburg, Armstrong County, struck a tree along Route 68 in Oakland Township. She was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.

10:05 p.m. Tuesday — Daniel John Murray, 19, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422 in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County. He also faces charges of possessing prohibited weapons for allegedly having a set of brass knuckles.
