Kendall W. Hupp

Kendall W. Hupp, 94, of the Ridgeville and Hilliards area died at 2:35 a.m. Monday at the Butler Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Born Nov. 14, 1911, in Hancock County, W.Va., he was the son of James M. and Mae Horner Hupp.

He attended the Ridgeville Methodist Church.

Mr. Hupp retired as a supervisor at Pullman Standard after 35 years. He had been a crewman on a towboat on the Ohio River. He also was a farmer.

He was an avid bowler and belonged to various bowling leagues.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Edna) Pisor of Hilliards; a granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Pisor of Hilliards; and a sister, Edna Pinter of Weirton, W.Va.

His first wife, Dorothy M. Hupp, to whom he was married to for 44 years, died Oct. 13, 1978. His second wife, Naomi Peters Hupp, and a brother also preceded him in death.

HUPP — Friends of Kendall W. Hupp, who died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will follow at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wade Berkey, his church pastor, officiating.
