Martsolf 50th anniversary
James and Veva Martsolf of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a dinner for family and friends in the fellowship hall of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
The former Veva Herold married Martsolf on Dec. 31, 1955.
They have two children, James Martsolf of Chicora and Tami Eck of Evans City.
They also have seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Martsolf retired from Gray/Warnick Engineering in 2000. He also worked as a self-employed truck driver and the former deputy director of the Butler County Election Bureau.
Mrs. Martsolf is retired from the Postal Service and was employed as a bus driver for Portersville Christian School in the 1970s.
The couple belongs to Mount Zion Baptist Church in Prospect.
