Pearl Dull of Slippery Rock Personal Care Home in Slippery Rock celebrated her 103rd birthday with a family dinner at the Slippery Rock Community Center.

The former Pearl Carothers was born Dec. 22, 1902, in Clay Township. She married Ralph Dull on June 23, 1921; he is deceased.

She has five children, Wanda Keller and Maxine Allison, both of Slippery Rock; Gerald Dull of Fredonia; Edward Dull of Greenville; and Vera Briggs of Portsmouth, Va. Another son, Eugene Dull, is deceased. She also has 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. One grandchild is deceased.

Mrs. Dull was employed at Slippery Rock University for more than 13 years.

A member of St. John's Methodist Church in Hallston, she enjoys embroidery, crocheting, sewing, reading and shopping.
