Richard and Helen Daller of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a surprise dinner with family and friends at Clifford's Restaurant. Their children hosted the event.

The former Helen Grennek married Daller on Nov. 26, 1955, at St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Lyndora.

They have three children, Richard Daller of Pittsburgh, Lu Ann Shidemantle of Erie and Thomas Daller of Butler.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Daller is retired from Armco.

Mrs. Daller is retired from Murphy's Mart.

The couple belongs to St. Andrew Orthodox Church.
