Two teachers from Butler County are among 40 recognized this year by the Great Teacher Recognition Program at Saint Vincent College.

The honored teachers were nominated by former students who are now freshmen at the college.

The teachers are:

Judy Jolley of Butler High School. Jolley, who has been teaching for 31 years, has been named to Who's Who Among American High School Teachers. She helps with the Future Teachers and math tutoring at the high school. She also is a lector at her church.Her courses include honors pre-calculus and AP calculus.She was nominated by former student Eric Clouse.

Diane Iman has been teaching at Mars High School for 17 years. She is a co-sponsor for the REACH club, and is a Christian education director at her church. She is a member of the bell choir and Partners in Education, the Penn West conference. Her courses include accounting, spreadsheets and business communications.Iman was nominated by former student Sean Fox.Winners at the Butler Duplicate Bridge Club game, held Dec. 22, 2005.Helen Brydon and Betty Thompson, John Kristufek and Alexander Bealles, Polly Black and Alan Martin, Teresa Fraas and Arthur Aronson and Donald Toy and Cleman Rosenberger.
