Bob and Jan Kaltenhauser of Saxonburg celebrated 50 years of marriage Nov. 24 with vow renewal at First English Lutheran Church in Butler and a dinner at J's Barn in Sarver for family and friends.

The former Janyce Grenet married Kaltenhauser Nov. 24, 1955, also Thanksgiving Day, at First English Lutheran.

They have three children, Eric Kaltenhauser of Butler, Heidi Kaltenhauser of Louisville, Ky., and Gretchen Kurzawa of Oakmont.

They also have six grandchildren.

Kaltenhauser is a retired director of contract services at Allegheny Ludlum Steel. He has a degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He belongs to St Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.

Mrs. Kaltenhauser is a homemaker. She has a degree in dental hygiene from Temple University and has worked in the Ellwood City School District and in private practice. She belongs to St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran.
