Dean and Betty Donaldson of Evans City celebrated 50 years of marriage Dec. 17 with a family dinner.

The former Betty Heckard married Donaldson on Dec. 17, 1955.

They have two children, Cheryl Flint of Renfrew and Beverly Carr of Rimersburg.

They also have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Donaldson is retired from the Borough of Evans City. He belongs to Westminster Presbyterian Church of Evans City.

Mrs. Donaldson is a homemaker. She belongs to Westminster Presbyterian Church of Evans City.
