10:45 a.m. Dec. 16 — A car driven by Christopher Edwards, 25, of Butler was traveling on Morton Avenue when it hit an embankment, stairs and two street signs. No injuries were reported. Police found Edwards in a private parking lot. He was charged with committing a hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license.11:29 a.m. Thursday — Lisa Vulakonich, 38, of Chicora reported an unknown vehicle struck her car while it was parked in the city tier garage.

1:05 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Eric Dancu, 19, of Pittsburgh was traveling on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township when it slid across the median and rolled over. Dancu, who was not wearing a seat belt, had a moderate head injury. His passenger, Corri Watterson, 19, of Worthington, who was wearing a seat belt, received minor injuries. Dancu was cited for driving too fast for conditions and driving with a suspended license.5:55 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Katherine Scahill, 18, of Kittanning was traveling on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township when it struck a guardrail. Both Scahill and her passenger, Mary Smail, 18, of Kittanning, were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Scahill was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and Smail was cited for underage drinking.2:05 a.m. Thursday — Robin Scratchard, 30, of Kittanning was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after police investigated her disable vehicle on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township.6 p.m. Dec. 10 — A car driven by Debra Flick, 43, of Kittanning was traveling on Nickelson Run Road in North Buffalo Township when it hit a utility pole. Flick was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Police report speed was a factor in the accident.6:29 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Ava Johnson, 41, of Natrona was traveling on Route 28 in Buffalo Township when it hit a deer.

6:30 p.m. Saturday — Jennifer Sue Zmitravich, 23, and David R. Love, 25, were charged with theft. They are accused of stealing $3,326 in merchandise from the Boscov's, JC Penney and Bon-Ton stores in the Clearview Mall in Center Township.

10:50 a.m. Tuesday — An employee at J&M Auto Service, 2431 Evans City Road, reported four tires and wheels were taken from a GMC truck at the business. The value of the items is $700.11:37 p.m. Dec. 14 — A vehicle driven by Douglas E. Marburger, 70, of Harmony was attempting to make a turn into a business off Route 19 when it was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by David Lee Bressler, 53, of Pittsburgh. Police said Bressler was later charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and driving at safe speeds.1:57 a.m. Dec. 10 — David Joseph Bonant, 47, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after police spotted him speeding on Route 19 and stopped his vehicle on Interstate 79.
