SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:

Brandon Blackwell Miller, 27, who gave his address as 150 Applewood Lane, Slippery Rock, had his case waived to court. Slippery Rock University Police charged Miller Oct. 18 with receiving stolen property, possession of a small amount of marijuana, five counts of use or possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, driving an unregistered vehicle, plate card improperly displayed, no headlights and controlled substance.

Brandon Blackwell Miller, 27, who gave his address as 214 Edna St., Harrisville, had his case waived to court. State police in Butler charged Miller Oct. 19 with burglary, criminal trespass, three counts of theft by unlawful taking, six counts of receiving stolen property, five counts of forgery, possession of a small amount of marijuana, five counts of use or possession of drug paraphernalia, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, five counts of bad checks, criminal mischief, driving an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without valid inspection.

Mary Ann Shaner, 28, of 566 Burns Road, Slippery Rock, had her case waived to court. State police in Butler charged Shaner Oct. 31 with possession of a small amount of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and careless driving.

Benjamin L. Campbell, 19, of 139 Grove City Road, Slippery Rock, had his case waived to court. State police in Butler charged Campbell Nov. 1 with driving under the influence, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor, driving at unsafe speed, careless driving and failure to use safety belt system.

Jared William Clayton, 19, of Sharpsville had his case waived to court. Slippery Rock University Police charged Clayton Nov. 21 with driving under the influence and duties at a stop sign.

Garrett Allan Rettig, 19, of 263 Evans City Road, Butler, had his case waived to court. Slippery Rock University Police charged Rettig Nov. 21 with driving under the influence, minor prohibited operating vehicle with alcohol in system, purchase of alcoholic beverage by a minor and driving on sidewalk.

WORTH TWP — District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:Janine Renee Rihel, 22, of Grove City had her case held for court. State police in Mercer charged Rihel Nov. 9 with driving under the influence, exceeding the speed limit, careless driving and not having rear lights that worked.Laura McGaughey, 22, of Grove City had her case held for court. Grove City police charged McGaughey Dec. 8 with three counts of forgery.Derek James Hedglin, 23, of Grove City had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged Hedglin Nov. 18 with driving under the influence, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and exceeding the 35 mph speed limit.Luke Gerard Nichols, 33, of Grove City had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Nichols Nov. 15 with driving under the influence and exceeding the speed limit.Adam Joseph Pesek, 22, of Grove City had his case waived to court. Grove City police charged Pesek Nov. 23 with driving under the influence and failure to stop at a red signal.Anthony Wendell Zigo, 18, of Sharpsville had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Zigo Sept. 26 with driving under the influence, intentional possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, three counts of use or possession of drug paraphernalia, purchase of alcoholic beverage by minor and approaching intersection improperly.Thomas J. Cloud, 55, of Boyers had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Cloud Oct. 3 with driving under the influence, failure to stop at red signal and limitations on driving on left side of road.Jerome Harry Hammer, 56, of Grove City had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Hammer Nov. 10 with driving under the influence and driving without the required lights.
