Christmas Eve services will be held at the following churches.

Unless otherwise noted, all services will be held on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

Butler Church of the Nazarene,4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will host the program, "Jesus, Our Light to the World," during it's Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Soloists will include Gwen Atkinson, Chrisann Green, Gordon Thompson and Millie Martsolf.

Christ Community United Methodist Church,205 N. Duffy Road, will host a contemporary service for families at 5:30 p.m.The Chancel Choir will perform "The Christmas Story in Song" at 7:30 p.m.A candlelight service of Holy Communion will be held at 11 p.m.

Christ's Outreach Church,120 Walker Ave., will host a traditional service at 6 p.m. and a contemporary service, featuring the band Innerchange at 7:30 p.m.

Community Alliance Church,800 Mercer Road, Center Township, will host Christmas Eve services at 5:30 and 7:15 p.m.

CrossWay Church of the Assemblies of God, 109 Davis Road, Middlesex Township, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service from 6 to 7 p.m.

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will host a candlelight Christmas Eve Communion Service of Lessons and Carols at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Mary Ann Zeigler will be the guest organist.

East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, East Butler, will host a candlelight Communion service at 6 p.m.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Church Street, Prospect, will host a Christmas Eve service with Holy Communion at 9 p.m.

Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive, will host a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m.

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will host a candlelight service at 6 p.m.

First English Lutheran Church,241 N. Main St., will host a Christmas Eve service at 10:30 p.m. Holy Communion will be celebrated during the service.A children's service will be held at 4:30 p.m.

First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown,will host four Christmas Eve candlelight services.The 5 p.m. service will include a festival of lessons of carols presented by the children.At 7 p.m., a service will be held with music by the Bakerstown Praise Band. A Christmas meditation service will be presented by Ted Martin.A second meditation service will begin at 10 p.m. with music by the Chancel Choir."Silent Night" and candle lighting will be a part of all three services.

First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., will host candlelight services at 6, 8 and 11 p.m. in the sanctuary. Communion will be served at the 11 p.m. service.A Crossfire service will be held at 7 p.m. at Butler Junior High School.The God's Country Christmas Eve service will be held at 9:30 p.m. at the Junior High School.

Glade Run United Presbyterian Church,1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will hold a family Christmas celebration at 6 p.m.A traditional service will be held at 8 p.m. Child care will be available.

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will host a candlelight service at 7 p.m.

GraceWay Community Church, Center Township Elementary School, Mercer Road, Center Township, will host a service at 5:45 p.m. The service will include candle lighting and Communion.

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will host the children and family service, "A Birthday Party for Jesus" at 4 p.m.A traditional candlelight service will be held at 8 p.m. A musical prelude will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church, 390 Frazier Road, Saxonburg, will host a family Christmas Eve service at 4 p.m. The service will feature a mini-musical.A candlelight service will be held at 7:30 p.m.Communion will be served at both services.

Meridian United Presbyterian Church,4150 Highland Ave., will host a Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m.

Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church,727 West Old Route 422, will host candlelight communion services at 4 and 7 p.m.

New Life Christian Ministries,Knoch School Auditorium, 345 Knoch School Road, Saxonburg, will host a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m.The service will include carols, a worship drawing and an outdoor candle lighting.

Nixon United Methodist Church,334 Airport Road, Penn Township, will host a Christmas Eve service for families at 4:30 p.m.A traditional carols and candlelight service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

North Butler Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Butler Road, Chicora, will host a Christmas Eve service with candlelight and Communion at 8 p.m.

North Hills Christian Church,7801 Thompson Run Road, North Hills, will host a candlelight service of lessons and carols at 7 p.m.

North Main Street Church of God,1201 N. Main St. Ext., will host a Christmas Eve service with candlelight and Communion at 7 p.m.

Oak Hills Christian Church,Old Plank and Township Line Roads, will host a candlelight service at 7 p.m.

Park United Presbyterian Church,115 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, will host a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Communion will be served.

St. Andrew Orthodox Church,201 Penn Ave., Lyndora, will host a Christmas Vigil at 7 p.m.

St. Anthony Orthodox Church, 400 S. Sixth Ave., will host Nativity Matins at 5 p.m. and the Nativity Liturgy at 6 p.m.

St. Brendan's Episcopal Church, 2365 McAleer Road, Franklin Park, will host a Christmas pageant with the Holy Eucharist at 5 p.m.A traditional candlelight service with the Holy Eucharist will be held at 10 p.m.

St. John's Lutheran Church, Main Street, Connoquenessing, will host a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Communion will be served.

St. John's Lutheran Stone Church, Stone Church Road, Harmony, will host a candlelight service at 9:30 p.m.

St. John's United Church of Christ,501 E. Main St., Evans City, will host a family service at 7 p.m. and a candlelight communion service at 11 p.m.

St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church,201 W. Jefferson St., will host a Family Christmas Eve Candlelight Eucharist at 5 p.m.Traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Eucharist will be offered at 7 and 9:30 p.m.

Trinity Presbyterian Church,107 Staley Ave., will host a candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m.

Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia, will host a candlelight and Communion service at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Music will be provided by the VPC Bell Chime Choir and the VPC Praise Team.

West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church,215 E. Church St., West Sunbury, will host a candlelight service at 7 p.m.

White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, 102 Shannon Road, Renfrew, will host a candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 7:30 p.m.
