3:27 p.m. Tuesday — Ann Alexander, 48, reported a white van driven by an unknown person struck her parked car at her Center Avenue residence.Tuesday — David Linder, 27, of Tarentum was charged with theft by deception after Armco Credit Union reported being defrauded by one its members, who manipulated funds from one account to another. Linder was jailed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bond.

3:30 p.m. Monday — Adam Harris, 24, of Butler was arrested for robbery, theft and receiving stolen property. He is accused of stealing a purse from a woman at Greater Butler Mart shopping center.

2:02 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Marilou Hudanick, age unavailable, of Harmony was traveling on the Interstate 79 ramp from Route 19 in Jackson Township when it slid on the icy road and hit an embankment, rolling onto its roof. Hudanick was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries.6:40 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Diane Werling, 57, of Renfrew and a car driven by Clifton Fehl, 28, of Renfrew collided on Route 8 in Penn Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene.5:30 p.m. Friday — The Wine and Spirits Store on Main Street in Petrolia reported the theft of a $25 bottle of Vodka by a white man wearing a hood. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.1:45 a.m. Sunday — Kevin M. Buzard, 20, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 8 in Brady Township.
