James and Gerta Worsley of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage recently.

The former Gerta Winkelman married Worsley on Dec. 14, 1945, at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have five children, Carol Robb of Carlisle and Albert Worsley, Sue Ellen Uram, Roxanne Worsley and Jamie Franchuk, all of Butler.

They also have 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Worsley is retired from Ray Andre Inc.

Mrs. Worsley is retired from Spang's.

The couple belongs to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
