6:30 p.m. Tuesday — An unknown vehicle was traveling on Center Avenue when it struck a utility pole, chipping the pole and bending a sign.12:30 p.m. Wednesday — John Mackalica, 26, of Boyers, Dewey Thompson, 46, of Butler and Timothy Moreino, 52, of Butler were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police assisted Butler County Adult Probation at an apartment at 102 W. Brady St.
4:45 a.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Robert Moore, 22, of Renfrew was traveling on Swan Hill Road in Lancaster Township when it struck a tree. He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.4:30 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Donald Burk, 35, of Petrolia rear-ended a car driven by Patricia Moser, 59, of Chicora on Route 38 in Concord Township. Moser was stopped waiting to turn onto Rider Road. No one was injured. Both drivers and Moser's three juvenile passengers, ages 3, 6 and 8, were wearing seat belts.11:45 p.m. Nov. 26 — An unknown person drove a dark blue sedan into the side of the Washington Township municipal building on Old Brick Road, causing about $1,000 in damage. Anyone with information about the incident should call state police at 724-284-8100.Tuesday — Carl Shuler, 66, of Fenelton reported the rear window of his 1998 Mercury sedan, which was parked on Steighner Road in Clearfield Township, was smashed between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, causing about $250 in damage. Anyone with information about the incident should call state police at 724-284-8100.Tuesday — David Dansevicus, 32, and Erik Mickey, 31, both of Butler, reported the windshields and windows of their trucks, which were parked on Burtner Road in Jefferson Township, were smashed between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 5:50 a.m. Tuesday. Anyone with information about the incident should call state police at 724-284-8100.12:45 p.m. Dec. 7 — Patrick S. McCamey, 30, of Slippery Rock was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police arrested him at 316 Orchid Lane in Brady Township on a felony warrant for burglary. He was arraigned on the burglary charge and is in Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 cash bond.Saturday — George A. Schaffner Jr., 39, of Chicora was charged with summary retail theft after fleeing two times from Friedman's Market in Chicora on Friday and Saturday before his personal checks were approved. Neither check was valid. The thefts totaled around $50.
Dec. 9 — A mountain bike was turned in to police after being found in a Dumpster at the BP gas station, 1844 S. Center St. Ext. The bike is a black Ross Mt. Jefferson model with blue lettering and a red water bottle holder.Dec. 8 — Laura L. McGaughey, 22, of Grace Street, Grove City, was arrested on three counts of forgery. McGaughey allegedly forged three checks Sept. 27 and 30 and Oct. 3. The checks were cashed at Grove City Federal Credit Union.1:30 p.m. Dec. 5 — Kevin M. Warden, 19, of North Broad Street, Grove City, was charged with theft and receiving stolen property after three Siberian huskies were found at his residence. The huskies had been taken from Donnie Null, 54, of North Broad Street.Nov. 28 — Bobbie Jo Cushing, 28, of South Center Street, was arrested for theft of a playpen owned by Marvin Hall of Guys Mills.7:55 a.m. Nov. 27 — A 17-year-old female from Grove City was arrested for driving under the influence following a one-vehicle accident in the 1000 block of South Center Street. She also was charged with careless driving, minors prohibited from operating with alcohol in system and underage drinking.Nov. 27 — A 17-year-old female from Grove City was arrested for driving under the influence and stop sign, red light and junior drivers license violations after being stopped at the intersection of North Center and Erie streets. She was also charged with minor prohibited from operating with alcohol in system and underage drinking.Nov. 26 — Jeremy Robinson, 28, of Dillinger was arrested for driving under the influence and driving under suspension. Robinson was stopped on South Center Street after police witnessed a high beam violation.Nov. 19 — Adam Joseph Pesek, 22, of Slippery Rock-Grove City Road was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop for a red light violation at the intersection of North Broad and North streets.
