12:46 a.m. Sunday — Megan Gracie, 29, of Butler Township was arrested for driving under the influence on West Cunningham Street. She was also cited for driving the wrong way on a one-way street.2:01 a.m. Saturday — Earl Robert Dally Jr., 46, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Brugh Avenue. He was also cited for a traffic signal violation.12:43 a.m. Saturday — Robert Mikita, 26, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street. He was also cited for speeding.
1:35 a.m. Sunday — Jeffrey Keith Noel, 47, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township.12:15 a.m. Sunday — Ronald Barton Jr., 36, of Clinton Township was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422 near Mitchell Hill Road in Summit Township.7:26 p.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Victor Mercado, 26, of Pittsburgh struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.4:20 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Paul Stefura, 44, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, skidded off slush-covered Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township and hit a light post. Stefura was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.3 p.m. Friday — A hit-and-run crash occurred in the Key Septic parking lot in Oakland Township. A brownish-colored car traveling on Route 68 went off the road, sliding 40 feet through the parking lot before rear-ending a parked black Cadillac. The unknown driver then fled northeast on Route 68. Police did not identify the owner of the parked car.12:55 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Scott Anderson, no age given, of Butler struck a utility pole along Route 38 in Center Township. Angie Anderson, no age given, of Butler, a passenger in the car wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Scott Anderson was cited for driving too fast for conditions.8:10 a.m. Friday — A van driven by Keith Drummond, no age given, of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, struck a utility pole along Freeport Street in Clinton Township. Drummond, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.6:35 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Craig Young, 18, of Butler was traveling on Country Club Road in Franklin Township when it slid across the road, hit an embankment and overturned. Young was cited for driving too fast for conditions and driving with a suspended license.Wednesday — A Meyer mini salt spreader valued at $995 was stolen between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. from a pickup truck at the park-and-ride facility on Route 422 in Worth Township. The New Castle Country Club owns the stolen property.9:35 p.m. Tuesday — Cars driven by Bridgett Sircy, 21, and Samuel Moore, 24, both of Slippery Rock, collided on Harmony Road near Keister Road in Slippery Rock Township. Sircy was cited for a left-turn violation; Moore was cited for driving a vehicle with tread-worn tires.6:54 a.m. Dec. 2 — Icy road conditions were blamed for a four-vehicle crash on Harrisville Road in Cherry Township. Drivers in the crash were identified as Joshua Hoover, 18, of Forestville; Vesta Bell, 24, and Jeremy Andrews, 28, both of Grove City, and Richard Carlantonio, 31, of Slippery Rock.
12:44 a.m. Friday — A tractor-trailer driven by David Hubble, no age given, of Lansing, Mich., crashed after jack-knifing on Interstate 80 in Allegheny Township. Hubble was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
Saturday — Police reported David Freiters, 29, of Worthington was charged with sexually assaulting a 5-year boy in December 2000 at an undisclosed location on Braddish Road in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County. Freiters is charged with indecent assault in the case. No other information was immediately available.7:10 p.m. Friday — Jonathan Eugene Williams, 18, of Worthington was arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and his mother's fiancée at their Gairin Street home in Worthington, Armstrong County.Police said the fight started when Lara Bowser, 32, refused her son's request that his girlfriend be allowed over to the house. Williams also was unhappy with what his mother had prepared for dinner, police said.Williams is accused of hitting Bowser in the face three times, cutting the bridge of her nose. The defendant also punched his mother's live-in boyfriend, Doyle Henry, 38.Williams was arraigned on charges of simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.
7:50 a.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Michael Aquaro, no age given, of New Castle skidded off snow-covered Route 208 in Springfield Township, Mercer County, and struck a mailbox, ditch and utility pole. Aquaro, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
