John Napora of Renfrew celebrated his 90th birthday recently with an open house at his home.

He was born Nov. 26, 1915, in Butler. He married Sally Rudosky on June 14, 1938.

He has three children, Sally Ann Houllion and Marsha Kowal, both of Butler, and Dr. John Napora Jr. of Tampa, Fla. He also has six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Napora is retired from Pullman Standard.

He is a member of SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

A golf pro at the Krendale Golf Course, he taught golf at the Butler YMCA for many years.
