3 p.m. Friday — Salvador DiMaria of Butler reported a hit-and-run accident in which an unknown vehicle struck his parked truck on Elm Street. The truck's front bumper was scratched.3 p.m. Friday — A small red vehicle driven by an unknown person struck the rear of a car driven by Mary Nelson of Butler while she was stopped at a red light at the intersection of North and Main streets. The impact caused Nelson's car to hit the vehicle stopped in front of it. The white male driving the red vehicle then fled.2:18 p.m. Friday — Richard Kradel of Butler reported a hit-and-run accident in which an unknown vehicle struck his parked car in front of his residence at 321 Mitchell Ave.

Nov. 5 — Joshua S. Hall, 22, was charged with careless driving, not immediately notifying police of an accident and driving under suspension in connection with a Nov. 3 accident. Hall's car was traveling on East Danville Road in Donegal Township when it left the road, hit a tree and continued along the shoulder before hitting a second tree. The driver fled on foot. Hall reported on Nov. 4 his car was stolen.8 p.m. Thursday — A truck driven by Andrew Brosenitsch, 34, of Cabot and a car driven by Daniel Volpe, 23, of Pittsburgh collided on Route 356 in Winfield Township. Volpe, who was wearing a seat belt, had moderate injuries. Brosenitsch and Volpe's passenger, Keith Hill Jr., 23, of Pittsburgh, who both were wearing seat belts, were not injured. The Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company and Saxonburg EMS assisted.

3:50 a.m. Oct. 28 — A vehicle driven by Timothy Dixon, 22, of Grove City was traveling on Scrubgrass Road in Wolf Creek Township when it left the road, went down an embankment and hit a tree. Dixon, who was not wearing a seat belt, had moderate injuries. Police are investigating the cause.6:30 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Kim McCarl, 48, of Mercer struck the rear of a truck driven by David Vinton, 54, of Grove City that was stopped for traffic on Route 58 in Pine Township.

12:30 p.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Michelle Deal, 34, of East Brady and a vehicle driven by Earl Bailey, 65, of Karns City nearly collided on Route 4002 in Perry Township, causing Deal's vehicle to leave the road and hit a utility pole. Deal, who was wearing a seat belt, had minor injuries. Bailey, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured.10:30 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by David Uplinger of Shelocta, Pa., was traveling through the intersection of Brison and Wilkerson roads in Pine Township when it left the road and went over an embankment and hit a ditch. Uplinger, who was wearing a seat belt, had a minor knee injury.

5 p.m. Wednesday — Brian Thomas Fiedler Jr., 18, of 709 Cedar Ave., Grove City, was arrested for theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after officers saw him riding a yellow Harro bike that had been reported stolen from a 13-year-old at the Grove City Middle School.Nov. 6 — It was reported that sometime between 2 and 4 a.m., a screen door was kicked in at 421 Shady Drive.2:01 a.m. Nov. 5 — Jerome Hammer, 56, of 804 Spring St., Grove City, was arrested on two counts of driving under the influence after he was stopped by police for not having rear lighting on his truck.Oct. 29 — Nathanael Wilson, 20, of Chicora was charged with possession of small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in relations to an incident that occurred Oct. 16 at Grove City College.
