LUNAFEST, a film series by, for and about women, will make its second appearance at Slippery Rock University at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the University Union. The festival provides a platform for emerging women filmmakers to share their stories and to support the Breast Cancer Fund. Topics include: a short, animated documentary about senior citizens' sexuality; a woman soldier's crisis to find someone to care for her children during her tour of duty in the Middle East; the dilemma of an Egyptian housewife living in Los Angeles; and a daughter's struggle to be understood by her mother, among others. Tickets cost $5 for the public and $3 for students and are on sale in the SRU Women's Center in the Strain Behavioral Science Building. Tickets will also be available at the door. Call 724-738-2091.

<B>Rangos Omnimax Theater</B> at the Carnegie Science Center on the North Side, features "Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon" and "Mystery of the Nile." "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: The IMAX Experience" opens Nov. 18 with a just-after-midnight showing. "The Polar Express: The IMAX Experience," which ran last year as well, opens Nov. 25. "Pittsburgh's Big Picture," an 8-minute bit that highlights the city's assets, is being shown before each feature film. Admission varies. Omnimax is not recommended for children younger than 3. Call 412-237-3400.<B>Tuesdays@2</B> free movies will feature the film "Madagascar" at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Kean Theatre at St. Barnabas, Washington Place, 5847 Meridian Road. Future films include "War of the Worlds" on Nov. 22 and "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" on Nov. 29. Admission is free, but donations are accepted to benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund. Call 724-444-6288.
