1:22 a.m. today — Jason Montgomery, 26, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting Crystal White, 26, during a domestic dispute at her South Bluff Street apartment. Montgomery is charged with simple assault.
Friday — A Dell computer and digital camera were taken in a burglary at the Hepler Road home of Eric Szymkowiak.
11:25 a.m. Tuesday — A 15-year-old Philadelphia boy, who police did not identify, escaped from the Summit Academy in Summit Township and stole a bicycle in the Herman area. Summit Academy personnel caught the boy a short time later.7:04 a.m. Tuesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Frank Anthony, 35, of Butler struck a deer on Benbrook Road in Center Township.1:40 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by Betty Hilliard, 86, of Connoquenessing and Velma Smith, 54, of Butler collided on Route 68 near Shannon Road in Connoquenessing Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and suffered minor injuries. Kurtis French, 3, no address given, a passenger in Smith's car, suffered minor injuries. The boy was in a child safety seat.8:20 a.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by April Vogel, 22, of West Sunbury crashed into a ditch along Route 38 near Valley Road in Concord Township. Vogel, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
Monday — A business sign at Peerless Microsystems Inc., Route 308 and Hooker Road in Clay Township, was vandalized between 10 p.m. Sunday and 9 p.m. Monday. Damage to the sign was estimated at $300.5:45 p.m. Friday — Theofanis Zelepos, no age given, of Butler was arrested for allegedly taking several packages of meat at the Giant Eagle store, Clearview Mall in Center Township. Zelepos is charged with retail theft.Monday — Thirteen vehicles were vandalized between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. at two separate parking areas on Madison Avenue at Grove City College in Pine Township, Mercer County. Police said the vandal or vandals used a removable paint marker to draw obscene words and picture on the windows of the vehicles owned by Grove City College students.
