Glenn Stewart of Cabot celebrated his 100th birthday today with an open house at the Concordia Haven II Apartments in Cabot.

Stewart was born Nov. 8, 1905, in Jackson Center. He married Erma Bachman on Sept. 3, 1933. She is deceased.

He has a son, Tom Stewart of Dayton, Ohio. He also has two grandchildren.

Stewart is a retired coal miner, and railroad worker. He also worked at a hardware store and as the manager of a service station.

He is a 75-year member of Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church. He enjoys baseball, gardening and traveling.
