One thing is certain to stop the downhill spiral for the A-C Valley football team: the end of the Falcons' schedule.

But the Falcons (1-7) have one game remaining, a 7 p.m. date at Lakeview Friday.

Since defeating Union Oct. 7, A-C Valley (1-7) has lost to Redbank Valley, Karns City and Keystone by a combined score of 135-13.

The latest setback, a 41-0 shutout to Keystone last week, saw the Falcons gain a season-low 32 yards of offense.

The Panthers returned an interception (25 yards) and a fumble (35 yards) for scores in the victory.

Lakeview (3-6) is coming off a 26-6 win over Youngsville last week.

The Sailors compete in District 10's Region I. Earlier this season, A-C Valley played another team from that league, Conneaut Lake, and lost 12-0.
