Ed and Myrtle McKee of Cranberry Township celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a reception for family at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church.

The former Myrtle Bender married McKee on Sept. 16, 1955, at St. Mary Church in Patton.

They have five children, Mark McKee of Matthews, N.C.; David McKee of Cranberry Township; Scott McKee of Harmony; Duane McKee of Beaver Falls; and Diane Leddon of Zelienople.

They also have 13 grandchildren.

McKee retired in 1994. He was employed as a dairy farmer for 13 years and with Farm, Lawn and Garden Sales for 30 years. He is a member of the Lions Club of Cranberry Township.

Mrs. McKee retired in 1995 from UPMC Passavant. She is currently employed at Wal-Mart. She is a church greeter and member of the Stephen Ministry at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church.
