5:10 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Nancy Turrano, 50, of Butler was eastbound on Brady Street near North Cliff Street when it struck a parked SUV. The impact caused Turrano's car to flip onto its roof in the westbound lane, trapping her inside. Members of the Butler City Fire Department and Butler Ambulance extricated her from the wreckage. She complained about pain in her neck, head and shoulders. The SUV was pushed over the curb onto the sidewalk and sustained damage to the rear bumper and tires.12:08 a.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Lisa Hockenberry, 39, of Butler was northbound on Third Avenue near Pillow Street when it struck a parked car owned by Joseph Scholl, 55, of Monroeville. Although Hockenberry fled the scene, a witness identified her to police. Hockenberry was cited for damage to an unattended vehicle.7:23 a.m. Friday — A yellow Chevrolet Impala with an unknown driver struck a parked vehicle owned by Richard Staugh of Parker on Pillow Street near East Cunningham Street and fled the scene.

10:25 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Norbert T. Moss, 27, of Evans City was southbound on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township when it left the road, struck an embankment in the median and rolled several times. Moss was ejected from the car. He was flown from the scene by helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital, where he was treated and released. He was not wearing a seat belt.10:25 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Dennis Malvarose, 46, of Butler struck the rear of a vehicle driven by William Broad, 79, of Butler in the northbound lane of Mercer Road in Center Township. Broad was stopped to make a left turn onto East Brewster Road. Neither Malvarose, who sustained minor injuries, nor his passenger, Joseph Malvarose, 83, also of Butler, who was not injured, were wearing seat belts. Both Broad and his passenger, Della Broad, 78, also of Butler, who were both wearing seat belts, sustained moderate injuries. Unionville Volunteer Fire Department and Butler Ambulance assisted police.Friday — An unknown vehicle struck the mailbox of Diane Deangelis of Center Township in front of her Holyoke Road residence between 2:30 and 3 p.m. and fled the scene.1:42 p.m. Oct. 23 — A vehicle driven by John Ritter, 25, of Renfrew was southbound on Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township when it left the road and hit a guardrail. Ritter was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He left the scene on foot prior to police arriving.1 a.m. Saturday — Dan Stehle, 56, of West Sunbury reported the theft of $100 in coins from the pop machines at Thompson's Market. The two suspects are a white male, possibly in his early 20s, with short dark hair and a white female with shoulder-length, possibly blond, hair driving a white four-door Chevrolet Lumina with star-shaped aluminum wheels. The estimated damage to the machines was $400. The suspects may have been involved in several pop machine break-ins around Butler County. Anyone with information about the incident should call Trooper John Gray or Trooper Walter Bell at 724-284-8100.2:45 p.m. Friday — A 13-year-old Butler girl was charged with summary retail theft after JCPenny security reported they stopped her from stealing a $10 necklace from the Clearview Mall store in Center Township.2:58 p.m. Tuesday — Bruce Harrison, 48, of Butler reported the theft of $1,975 from his bank account. Police are investigating.6:56 p.m. Oct. 8 — Shane P. Morgan, 20, of Slippery Rock was cited for retail theft. He is accused of stealing unspecified merchandise from Boscov's Department Store in the Clearview Mall.Oct. 23 — Diane Raynovich, 45, of Evans City reported the theft of her purse with unspecified items inside from an unlocked vehicle at her Old Route 68 residence in Forward Township between 7 p.m. Oct. 22 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 23. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.Saturday — Beverly Turner, 36, and Larry Turner, 37, both of Petrolia reported the theft of a license plate from her GMC Jimmy and damage done to the dashboard of his Chevrolet K20 truck between Friday and Saturday.11 a.m. Saturday — Nancy Craig, 51, of Harrisville reported the theft of a purse containing numerous credit cards, checkbook and identification from her unlocked vehicle at the Harrisville Post Office. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.2:34 p.m. Sunday — Two juvenile females, ages unavailable, were cited for retail theft. They are accused of stealing two pairs of athletic pants from The Bon-Ton Department Store in the Clearview Mall.Saturday — Matthew McNany, 24, of Chicora reported the theft of two centers from aluminum wheels on a 2005 Dodge truck from a residence at 430 Fairmont Road in Fairview Township between 11 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday. One of the door frames was dented. The total loss is estimated at $280.

Saturday — Michael Riddle of Grove City reported the theft of a speaker box with amp, value unknown, from his SUV while it was parked on North Liberty Road in Liberty Township between 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday. The back window of the vehicle was broken to gain access.Thursday — Jessica Peters, 23, of Mercer reported the theft of her purse from a vehicle parked at the Grove City Bowlodrome on Route 58 between 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8:50 a.m. Thursday. Two side windows of the vehicle were broken to gain access. The total value of stolen property is $75, while the estimated damage is $300.1:54 a.m. Friday — a 14-year-old boy was cited for retail theft and disorderly conduct after the Movie Gallery reported him trying to take unspecified items from its Pine Township location.
