Minton reaches milestone at Thiel
Seneca Valley graduate Steve Minton became the first running back at Thiel College to amass 1,000 yards rushing in a season Saturday when he gained 217 yards and scored two touchdowns in the Tomcats' 24-14 win over Thomas More College.
The victory gives Thiel (8-0, 6-0) its first Presidents' Athletic Conference title since 1972.
